About Physiohub
Physiohub is the dream of two physiotherapists and husbands at the same time. We are a physiotherapy clinic made up of the two of us - Denis and Johana.
Our ambition is not to grow as much and as quickly as possible, as is the custom these days, but on the contrary, to always prioritize an individual approach and the quality of care that we can provide you according to our own ideas and without compromises.
We like to create a pleasant environment for you, we rely on care, empathy, simplicity and openness.
How did it all begin?
Our story
Studying physiotherapy - unforgettable years and life partner
Physiotherapy was the obvious choice for both of us. This is probably due to our relationship with sports, perhaps our own experiences with pain and undoubtedly some inner need to help others. At the beginning, our idea was that during our studies we would understand the functioning of the human body and soon we would be able to help people quickly and efficiently from pain. We now know very well that the path to fulfilling this vision is much longer than five years to a master's degree, and the whole magic of the art of physiotherapy lies in practice and lifelong learning. However, studies gave both of us the most valuable thing in life - a true partner, now a husband/wife!
Work in outpatient physiotherapy and life decision
After our studies, we both started working in outpatient physiotherapy where the care was primarily covered by health insurance. Half an hour was usually reserved for each patient, including lengthy administration, and the total number of people we had to treat every day was high. Despite the fact that we liked our work, this work model gradually led us to exhaustion and fatigue. The disillusionment of this reality led us to a spontaneous decision to go abroad.
Life in Canada
Looking back today, we realize that the decision to leave may have come a few minutes after twelve. The exhaustion from the work at the time was more of a burnout, so we did the best we could. A year and a half of working and traveling in Canada put the wind back in our sails, gave us a completely new perspective and brought back the enthusiasm for a profession we both love.
Today´s reality
Motivated by a clear vision of where we no longer want to reach, we began to think about our future office and the way of working, which would no longer exhaust us. We gradually began to realize our clear ideas and now we can offer you our services in the environment of a beautiful office in our own way.
